A LiveRez alternative, before you migrate
LiveRez has given property managers trust accounting, a website, operations tools and a lead CRM with unlimited users — this isn’t a takedown. But liverez.com now says LiveRez is transitioning to Streamline, so you are choosing a system either way. VacayOps is the Full Platform at $29/property/month: PMS, direct channel connections, booking website, field operations, owner statements, trust accounting, phones and CRM, with unlimited users.

What LiveRez’s transition page says
If you are weighing Streamline against another system, these are the points LiveRez’s own transition page makes.
- Migrations through 2025 and 2026, all complete by July 2026.
- About 90 days from planning to go-live.
- Up to two years of historical reservations imported into Streamline.
- Historical data viewable at no cost for 3–6 months; $250/month to keep reporting access when moving to a PMS other than Streamline.
- Download tax documents such as 1099s and year-end reports before the final migration.
Where VacayOps differs
A price you can read
LiveRez prices by quote on a “pay-for-performance” model. VacayOps is $29/property/month on the pricing page, with two add-ons: smart devices at $5/device/month and phone lines at $7/line/month. Keep 100% of your direct bookings. No booking fee, no revenue share — card processing is billed by your own processor at its rates.
Field operations with photos
Checkouts create the clean, crews work photo checklists on their phones, and the photos land on the task — with unlimited users for staff, crews and vendors.
Trust books next to the bookings
Trust accounting, owner statements and a monthly three-way reconciliation with sign-off, plus a business phone system and a sales CRM — on the same records as the reservations.
What LiveRez users already have
Some of what LiveRez includes, VacayOps includes too — so you’re not giving it up.
- Free and unlimited users — VacayOps has no per-seat fee either.
- A website included in LiveRez fees — the VacayOps booking website is in the base price, with no booking fee.
- Lead CRM — inquiries become leads; emails and texts sent from the CRM.
Switching from LiveRez
Switching is built in — a self-guided Migration Center, with a specialist reviewing your move. Migration is the reason managers stay on software they have outgrown. The Migration Center is in your account from day one: it reads your old system’s exports, shows exactly what will change before anything is saved, runs both systems side by side so your guests notice nothing, checks every booking against your old system, and switches over on the day you pick.
- LiveRez uses the general export guide. There is no live connection to your old system: the Migration Center works from the files you export, so nothing changes there until you switch over.
- Past and upcoming reservations with guest details and the money as your export itemizes it, properties with their access codes and housekeeping details, owners, team and vendors, opening balances, old owner statements as files and CRM contacts.
- Guest message history, saved cards, rate calendars, Vrbo listing content and review text stay behind — reviews stay on your channel listings.
Leaving LiveRez: common questions
- What is happening to LiveRez?
- liverez.com says “LiveRez is transitioning to Streamline”, and the transition page it links to says “LiveRez, LMPM, and VRM are uniting under the Streamline brand”, with migrations through 2025 and 2026 and all complete by July 2026. For your own account’s timeline, ask your LiveRez Success Manager.
- Can I move from LiveRez to a PMS other than Streamline?
- The LiveRez transition page covers it: partners moving to a PMS other than Streamline can keep reporting access to their historical data for $250 a month, and historical data is viewable at no cost for 3–6 months after migrating. Check the current terms with LiveRez before you plan dates.
- What should I download from LiveRez before I leave?
- The transition page recommends that you generate, save and download any tax documents, such as 1099s and year-end reports, before the final migration. Export your reservations, properties and owners too — those are the files the VacayOps Migration Center reads.
- How does switching to VacayOps work?
- Switching is built in — a self-guided Migration Center, with a specialist reviewing your move. LiveRez uses the Migration Center’s general export guide: it reads your files, shows what will change before anything is saved, runs both systems side by side and checks every booking. There is no live connection to your old system: the Migration Center works from the files you export, so nothing changes there until you switch over.
- What comes across from LiveRez, and what doesn’t?
- Past and upcoming reservations with guest details and the money as your export itemizes it, properties with their access codes and housekeeping details, owners, team and vendors, opening balances, old owner statements as files and CRM contacts. Guest message history, saved cards, rate calendars, Vrbo listing content and review text stay behind — reviews stay on your channel listings.
- Does VacayOps have trust accounting like LiveTrust?
- Yes. Trust accounting, owner statements and a monthly three-way reconciliation with sign-off are part of the Full Platform at $29/property/month. Trust rules come from your state and your license. VacayOps gives you and your accountant or broker the records, checks and signed reconciliations to work from; meeting those rules and making your filings stay with you.
